Jigsaw Piece No. 13
Monetizing Your
Site...
Is the niche you've chosen a huge one? With
heaps of people searching for your type of product online?
And you've dug down to find a part of that niche that's really going to
work for you.
Great!
Now what if
we add a few more products for sale, to your site before you launch?
Some
people swear by adding Google AdSense adverts to their site, but that can be a really poor
return for some space on your precious sites... most of the time.
When you visited
ClickbankMarketplace while you were going through the research
instructions in "Niche Dynamite" you'll have noted the other
products in your niche.
Are there one or more of the top
sellers in that niche that aren't in direct competition with your own
product?
Would it benefit your customers if you were able to
direct them to a complimentary product?
We know it would benefit
you...
you'd be collecting a healthy commission.
Until you're a little more used to the internet...
marketing your new business, driving traffic to your site, etc., can I
suggest that you don't confuse your visitors by putting these additional products on your salespage.
You want their total attention on your own product, and clicking on your
"Buy Now" button.
However...
You can put what you like on your download page!
A lot of marketers don't think about monetizing
their download page. But why not? Your new customer has just
had their wallet out, and
downloaded their purchase. Why not give them an unadvertised bonus
for free, which contains some affiliate links of yours, or show them something else that
might help them? It could make you more dollars too. More
info?
