Let's start with creating a sitemap file for your site.
This isn't optional if you want your site listed by the search
engines. For example... Google require a sitemap to assist with
their search processing.
Use
the free facility at www.xml-sitemaps.com.
Just follow the instructions then
download the xml file that's created, to your harddrive.
Then upload this file to your website. The same place you
uploaded your site to. If you can't remember the ftp
instructions you followed to put your site up...

Next, register your site and
its' map with Google.

describe your site, into a search engine... they're looking for
a product like yours. You've "googled" for information?
Whatever word or phrase you entered into that search box are
listed in the keywords of the sites that come up on the results
page.
