Your Domain Name.
As you'll learn from your investment in "Affiliates Advice"... strictly
speaking you don't have to have a website in order to sell other
people's products... there are other ways of selling.
For example,
having grabbed your unique affiliate link when you signed up as an
affiliate to a particular product, use it as
your *signature on forums you join, or articles about your niche that you write and submit to article
sites. We'll talk more about marketing later.
*Your "signature" is the short paragraph at the end
of your article where you state a little about yourself
and the product you're promoting.
A signature doesn't "sell" it
"states". If people have enjoyed your answer in the forum, or the
article you wrote, they're likely to follow the link in your signature
to find out more.
Some marketers will provide affiliate banners for your use too.
And emails for you to send to your mailing list once you've developed
one.
Most of you, wisely, will decide to have an "identity" of your own...
a web site address where people can find you or your product/s... a domain name.
And a thought for you right now... do you own your own name as a domain
name yet? Is it still available, or has another person with the same
name already grabbed it? Click on the image below to find out...

If yours has gone... do you have a middle initial
that you could include? Or a nickname that you enjoy? You're going to find a lot of uses for
having your own personal domain name.
In fact, the first use you
can put it to is to recommend affiliate products. If you've put
together a quick web page... a minisite, to promote a product you're an affiliate for, it's
address on the internet can be
www.(your name).com/recommends/(product
name or just the initials).
e.g.
www.johnsmith.com/recommends/newbiesonthenet or
www.johnsmith.com/recommends/notn
But if you're serious about an
online presence, even if you've decided to limit it to affiliate
products, then you do need your own site and a domain name that reflects
your chosen niche.
Never done this before?
That's okay...
