Use An Autoresponder For Marketing...

An autoresponder is Email Marketing Software... an email program that can be used to automatically schedule or send an email to any number of email addresses on your mailing list.  You can setup emails to send to your subscribers at any date in the future... automatically.

Autoresponders allow you to automatically contact your subscribers, without having to sit down and write an email to each of them.

Here are a few ways you can use autoresponders:

Automatically send a follow up email to customers who have

     purchased from you.

Create and send an email course to your subscribers. You

can schedule the course to be emailed over different days.

For example, you could send your subscriber a new email

every Monday, or every few days.  N.B.  People who send

multiple daily emails tend to have a lot of their

     subscribers... unsubscribe!

Send different emails to your subscribers automatically

     based on their preferences.

The majority of professional internet marketers use aWeber or GetResponse

If you're going to succeed in business online... there's no doubt about it... you're going to need an autoresponder.

Here's are just a few ways to use your autoresponder for marketing...

1.  Create visually stunning email Newsletters from the free templates available with your autoresponder.  Encourage the recipients to pass on your newsletter, and make sure you've a signup form in it.  You'll collect new email addresses to add to your all-important list.

2.  Construct "follow up" campaigns for those who signup to your Newsletter.  It's a fact that you need to communicate with prospects numerous times before they convert into buyers.  The campaign could include a price list of all the products and services that you offer.  You could also include order forms, product descriptions, and other sales material.

3. Publish a series of free reports in autoresponder format.  The reports should be related to your business or web site.  And offer free information that your target market will enjoy.  Giving away free stuff will quickly increase your traffic.

4.  Collect vital customer satisfaction information by publishing a survey in autoresponder format. This type of information will help you understand your customers and therefore serve them better... and increase the possibility of sales.  Keep a record of the compliments you receive.  Ask the people who sent in the best of them, if you can use them as a testimonial.

5.  Publish "Frequently Asked Questions" in autoresponder format instead of having to answer every customer question that's e-mailed to you. This will save you time and effort.  Simply keep a record of all the questions you've been asked, until you've got a viable FAQ series put together.

6.   Publish your product testimonials or endorsements in autoresponder format if you think they're cluttering up your sales page, or you don't have the room in your ad copy.  It's more effective to include all of them.

7.  Provide back issues of your Newsletter archives in autoresponder format.  This will give your subscribers and web site visitors easy access to them.  Only do this if they're full of information that will appeal to your target market.

8.  Publish your entire web site in autoresponder format.  If yours is a major site with massive amounts of information... sometimes visitors don't have enough time read your entire site. They could print it out and read it offline.

9.  Offer your own ebook in autoresponder format.  If you were going to give the book away... consider putting it into a series of emails so that your visitors can absorb it little by little.

10.  Create conversations with your autoresponder.  Use the social networks and blogging automatically.  Post instant updates on Twitter and blogs.

Yes, there are free autoresponders out there.  Just do a Google search.  Sorry... there doesn't appear to be a single free one that doesn't have a downside.  Or we'd tell you about it.

And one of the major downsides is the fact that your emails will include their advertising.  Not a good look for someone building a business.
