On some other forums, lately there has been quite a lot about what's the best theme to use and in many instances they are talking about "bought" themes.

There are numerous free themes available in 1,2 or 3 column configuation. All that is necessary is to Google Wordpress Themes and be prepared to spend a lot of time browsing the ones that are available.

We use mainly a 3 column theme called RockinBizRed by Nathan Rice. It will not suit everyone but we have found it easy to use in posting and monetizing. The blog for NewbiesOnTheNet uses this theme: http://www.newbiesonthenet.com/blog.

It is beyond doubt, and we know it from our experience that good free WordPress themes and WordPress templates are always in great demand. Nowadays even among abundant choice of blog engines, Wordpress still remains the most widely used and the most popular blog engine. It gives evident benefits such as simplicity in usage and setup, flexibility, great choice of plugins.
